She has expertise in mathematical programming approaches, with a special emphasis on generalized disjunctive programming models for supply chains. She has collaborated with Prof. Ignacio E. Grossmann (Carnegie Mellon University, USA), contributing to cyber-infrastructure development for mixed-integer nonlinear problems with Prof. Vecchietti in 2010, and to optimal supply chain design and management where demand uncertainties come from machine failures at customer plants (2011 – 2012). She currently maintains a collaboration in the proposed area with Prof. Ana I. Torres (also at Carnegie Mellon University, USA) on the redesign of forest biomass-based fuels supply chains under multiple factors of uncertainty (since 2022). She has been invited to present her research work at some international events: CAPD Annual Meeting at CMU, where she discussed forest supply chains under uncertainty in 2024, and the Pan-American Institute on Optimization and Sustainability in 2023, focusing on forest industry supply chains. She also showcased industrial case studies at CMU’s Optimization Meetings in 2012 and 2011. She has published more than 20 manuscripts in Scientific Journals, 8 Book chapters of International Conference Proceedings, and more than 50 contributions to national and international conferences. She also collaborated with Prof. Dr. Novas to publish a book chapter by invitation, in “Designing Smart Manufacturing Systems.” Dr. Rodriguez has participated in more than 20 projects, being the Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI in 5 of them. She has teaching and research experience in various roles at UTN–FRSF from 2005 to 2017, including Adjunct Professor, Assistant Professor, and Teaching Assistant. She has conducted courses in Operations Research and Modeling at various universities since 2013. Regarding supervising and co-supervising activities, she has supervised 3 PhD students, 1 master’s student, 14 undergraduate students, and 5 academic internships. She has a strong focus on industry collaborations, including production planning, inventory and supply chain optimization at Limansky SA (Mattress Industry), production planning at Starplastic SA (Plastic Bottles Industry), truck loading optimization, and distribution planning optimization for Andina Argentina (Coca-Cola Bottler), cutting stock problem at Celcor SA (Paper Industry), and supply chain design optimization at ABB (Motors Industry). She plays a significant role as a reviewer in scientific journals and has participated in many Scientific Committees in national and international conferences. Additionally, she has evaluated HR and R&D proposals in the Argentine scientific systems (CONICET/MinCyT). Email

Dr. Rodriguez is a full-time researcher with teaching duties since 2013. Currently, she is an Adjunct Researcher at IPQA (UNC-CONICET). She earned her B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the National Technological University, Santa Fe Regional Faculty, in Argentina, in 2006, with the highest GPA. She was distinguished by the National Academy of Engineers in 2007. In 2010, she obtained her Ph.D. in Engineering with a Mention in Information Systems from the same institution. Her research thesis work was carried out at the Institute of Development and Design (UTN-CONICET), under the supervision of Dr. Vecchietti.
